New Employee Information
New employees will report to their hiring department on their first day of work, per the instructions given by the hiring department. These instructions will include where to park, what time to report to work, and dress code requirements for the department.
New employees will be contacted by Human Resources prior to their first day of employment via email and letter with information regarding their orientation date, time, location, and instructions for filling out necessary employment and benefit forms. Orientation generally lasts two (2) hours and covers Pennington County employment basics from pay procedures and time off to benefits.
New hires should bring two (2) forms of current identification to complete their I-9 Employment Verification form, a voided check or Direct Deposit Authorization Form from their financial institution, and social security numbers, addresses, and dates of birth for dependents and those they wish to list as beneficiaries.
