Online or Onsite Deposits to the Inmate's Account

Jail ATM is a service provided to friends and family of inmates incarcerated in the Pennington County Jail. It is a fast and convenient way to send money to inmates. Funds are credited to the inmates account almost immediately after the transaction is approved by the credit card company. There are two ways to deposit funds in an inmates account, online or using the kiosk in the Jail lobby.

Online Deposit

Go to www.jailatm.com to deposit money in an inmate's account through the internet. You can use credit or debit cards issued by Visa, MasterCard or Discover. You will need to select Pennington County Jail from the facility menu. Then search for an inmate by entering their name. The fee for online deposits is 10% of the amount deposited.

Onsite (Jail Lobby) Deposit

You can make deposits to the inmate's account using cash or credit/debit cards issued by Visa, MasterCard or Discover in the kiosk in the public lobby of the Jail. You can find an inmate by entering their last name or inmate ID number. Transactions are final and cannot be refunded. Please ensure you select the correct inmate. Fees for using the lobby kiosk: $3.00 per cash transaction and 10% of the amount being deposited if using a credit/debit card.
