The Pennington County Sheriff's Office is located in Rapid City and staffs patrol offices in the Black Hills Communities of Wall, New Underwood, Keystone and Hill City. However, our office also covers a wide array of services for our community. We run a court-mandated 24/7 Sobriety Program, City/County Alcohol and Drug Program, the Western Dakota Juvenile Services Center, the Pennington County Jail and we protect life and property all around Pennington County. We have almost 400 employees for over 85 different positions within our office. We are continuously seeking qualified applicants interested in working in our Law Enforcement Community.
